Yes, but there is no guarantee that there will be spot for your child/ren when you come back from holidays as we cannot hold places once care is cancelled.

If it is one off occurrence, no. But if it continually happens without any valid reason yes you will be charged.

We require 4 weeks notice in writing for any cancellation or alteration of your enrolment and you must attend on your last booked day to claim Child Care Subsidy otherwise you will be charged full fees from Centrelink.

It is the parents responsibility to monitor their CCS and if there has been any changes. You can log in to your MyGov account and check for any notifications. The centre’s role is to submit children’s attendances and Services Australia system automatically calculates your subsidy.

About your child

Do you cater for dietary, cultural and medical needs? - All menus are nutritionally balanced to ensure that children are provided with the recommended daily intake of each food group. Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea  and late afternoon tea are provided. Dietary, cultural and medical needs are also catered for at BSCC.

All families are asked to provide a spare set of clothes for their child in case of any spillages or accidents, water and messy play. Please bring your child's labelled hat, drink bottle, wet bag, own formula for babies that require it from home.

We request that you keep your child home if they are ill. This helps reduce the risk to other children and Educators. If your child becomes ill during their day at BSCC’s, we will contact the parents and arrange for the child to be collected.

We operate an open-door policy, where parents and families are welcome to visit anytime during operational hours.
We encourage parents to actively participate in the care of their children by becoming involved in and spending time at our Centre.

We use a software program called OWNA to keep you up to date with information and photos of your child’s/children’s day.  You will be sent an invite to have access to child’s learning for the day.
